For those of you that are concerned about what may be coming
not only in the U.S. but worldwide, the following web sites can provide long
life food (up to 25 years).
Most of it comes in #10 cans, but single foil packs are
available.
We tried a couple samples and to our surprise they were
quite good.
A sample foil pack of
chicken-al-a-king was tasty, and all you had to was add 8 ounces of boiling water.
We tried some freeze dried hamburger. Out of the can it looks and feels
like rice-krispies. Add 8
ounces of boiling water and it tastes like hamburger.
Daily Bread is a sub of FoodInsurance
Happy hamburgers.
You will find one or
more of these sites feature water purification.
You do have to add water to the
freeze dried and dehydrated
food. Katadyn offers the old PowerSurvivor which works by reverse osmosis which will turn salt
water into great tasting fresh water.
