All political candidates should pass a 4 hour constitution test. One which covers not only all of the constitution, but also the comments and cautions of those who wrote it. It is not just the constitution that is important, but the context is set not by lawyers who quote each other, but as the founding fathers often said, interpret the constitution by the explanations and instructions of those who wrote it.

Think we could get that done?

UNMANNED PORT OF ENTRY AT U.S./MEXICO BORDER

Federal authorities have proposed an unmanned port of entry at the U.S./Mexico border that would allow people to legally cross into the U.S. from Mexico as often and for however long strikes their fancy without the fear of ever being caught doing so.

In the proposal, the nearest customs officer will be 100 miles away in Big Bend National Park, rather than on either side of the Rio Grande River but no worries – there will be unmanned kiosks to facilitate communication should they have any questions or need directions.

To make matters worse, the Obama regime has announced its plans to reduce the number of National Guard troops that are deployed along the Mexican border -- without increasing the already-low numbers of Border Patrol agents there! In fact, their grand plans leave a two-year gap between the troops departure and the arrival of technology meant to replace them.

This is no joke. In an attempt ‘to upgrade security’ along the U.S.-Mexico border, federal authorities are proposing an unmanned border crossing in a rugged, remote area of West Texas where illegal immigrants easily wade across the shallow Rio Grande on a regular basis.

And if you haven’t had your fill of Obama’s most recent efforts to throw the gates wide open, just look at all of this – the unmanned kiosks, the reduction of troops along the border, AND the illegal immigrant helpline – in light of the Department of Justice’s stringent efforts to paralyze our last line of defense against illegal immigration – America’s sheriffs.

By launching frivolous investigations into the civil rights abuses of arrested illegal immigrants, not only is he wasting OUR money, Obama is effectively destroying our last line of defense against illegal immigration.

You would THINK that using our resources to secure the border with Mexico rather than make it even easier for illegal immigrants to cross would just be good ol’ COMMON SENSE – but apparently Washington needs our help to get things into perspective! That means YOU AND I need to take action NOW!
